Lost Words Wednesday

What a wonderful, sunny Wednesday!

Evening readers hope your well. Been a super busy week again this week, as much as I’d love to write to you more…. it’s just finding the time. Plus I do have my head stuck in a series at the moment, I just can’t put it down. It’s “The Ending Series”, and I’m on the 2nd book “Into the Fire”, and I’m completely hooked!! (You guys don’t mind that, do you??)

Anyway, happy “Lost Words Wednesday!” have I got a treat for you!! I’m so happy with my super awesome finds this week, I could just scream, and my bookshelf is looking amazing. So here it is, my super awesome finds this week:

AMAZING….. Right???

A few Facts:

Author: Ilsa J. Bick

Genre: YA novel

Publisher: Egmont USA

Published: September 2011

Followed by: Shadows, Monsters

So, wow…. this series looks.. awesome! It’s funny really that I found this because it’s rather similar to what I’m reading at the moment, “The Ending Series”, so that’s cool. I’ll have to do a book review on them and maybe compear them, that will be fun 😉

“A story of high-wire tension, gut-wrenching twists, and burgeoning love. Ashes will leave you breathless”. Oh, I do hope so! Have any of you lovely people read these before? I’d love to know what you thought of them. I will be on the hunt to complete this series so I can get stuck in.

The Night Circus:

A few facts:

Author: Erin Morgenstern

Genre: Fantasy

Publisher: Doubleday

Published: 2011

Pages: 387

I’ve heard a lot of strange things about this book so I did a little digging and I can see why! It’s so dived on what people think about this book, I’m just going to have to read it and make my own mind up about it. Which is fine, it’s just funny because there is such a wide range of reviews on this book. I wonder if I’ll like it??

Beautiful Creatures:

A few facts:

Author: Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl

Genre: YA, Fantasy, Romance

Publisher: Little, Brown

Published: December 2009

Followed by: Beautiful Darkness, Beautiful Chaos, Beautiful Redemption

What a “Beautiful” book and an amazing film! I love this story, definitely a favourite of mine, and the film too. Such a great love story, it really had me hooked, I was fully immersed and craving more, it’s beautifully written from Ethan Wate’s point of view. Which that in its self, had me turning pages…. The magic in this story is brilliant and different! Yay! Different, so refreshing! With darkness entwined it made for a fabulous read!

Slated – Fractured – shattered:

A few facts:

Author: Teri Terry

Genre: YA, Dystopian

Published: 2012

Publisher: Orchard Books

Followed by: Fractured, Shattered

Can you know the truth if your mind has been wiped?

If that doesn’t grab you, then nothing will! I cannot wait to read this, ( I find I’m saying that a lot lately!) Oh well…. it’s the truth, I get hooked in rather easily. This series has so much, I mean come on…. set in the future in a dystopian world, with suspense, a strong female protagonist and a gripping puzzle that’s dark and sinister! YES! If I keep losing myself in all these amazing worlds I’m not going to be able to find my way out!

Well, there you have it, another Wednesday full of super awesome finds! I hope this gives you some great read ideas, and you can find these great books through the links on the book titles.

Thanks for reading you guys!
