Happy Wednesday!
Not much bookshelf left…… dang it! I think I will go shelf shopping pretty soonish. I also want to start sharing something different with you guys, so join me on filling up my “Listography” book 🙂 possibly starting in the next couple of weeks! But until then let me share with you, “my super awesome finds”, for this week.
My super awesome finds:
- Twisted Heart – Eden Maguire
- The Sword of the Templars – Paul Christopher
- The Host – Stephenie Meyer
- Ghost Town – Rachel Caine
- Kiss of Death – Rachel Caine
- Fade Out – Rachel Caine
Pretty happy with that!
Twisted Heart:
A few facts:
Author: Eden Maguire
Genre: YA
Publisher: Hodder Children’s Books
Published: 3 November 2011
More from: Dark Angel (book one), Broken Dream (book three)
Ok, so after a little research I’ve found out that this is book two of three books, didn’t what to look too much into it and spoil the story. Has anyone read the first one? or this one? good? I’m a little guilty of “cover buying” this book, and I must admit I’m kind of bored of fallen angel stories, but hey, let me know if its good and I’ll give it a chance.
The Sword of the Templars:
A few facts:
Author: Paul Christopher
Genre: Thiller
Publisher: Penguin
Published: 31 March 2011
Series: 9 books
- The Sword of the Templars
- The Templar Cross
- The Templar Throne
- The Templar Conspiracy
- The Templar Legion
- Red Templar
- Valley of the Templars
- Lost City of the Templars
- Secret of the Templars
Wow, that’s a series! I’m intrigued by this series, not just because of the main character John Holiday is an Army Ranger 😉 but because “A conspiracy theory” and “An ancient order”, also a “sinisterly wrapped sword”…… screams Indiana Jones to me! So I think I’m going to give it ago.
The Host:
A few facts:
Author: Stephenie Meyer
Genre: Science Fiction, Romance, Thriller, Dystopian
Published: May 6th 2008
Publisher: Little, Brown & Company
More from: Twilight Saga
A favourite book and film of mine. I really enjoyed this novel. The relationship that develops between Melanie and Wanderer is brilliant…. the friendship is heartwarming and had me laughing out loud too. The passion that brings Melanie’s consciousness out more between her and Jared is amazing! Not forgetting the love that grows for Wanderer and Ian. As you can tell, I really liked the romance side of this book!
The Morganville Vampires:
A few Facts:
Author: Rachel Caine
Genre: Urban Fantasy/Vampire
Publisher: New American Library
Published: October 2006-2014
Series: 15 books
If you didn’t already know, in one of my earlier Lost Words Wednesday’s I’d found book one – “Glass House”, so I’m happy to have found book’s seven, eight and nine! Still a few to get mind you! But I do love a good vampire series….. what’s your fav fantasy? I have so many books I am desperate to read!
On that note, I’ll leave you to ponder my awesome finds and as always click on the links if you wish to buy one of these.
Thanks for reading!
